Match Report Press Report

Cooden I Lost to Crawley Squash Club III in a one-sided match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 60 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Bailey Malik, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 5 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 105 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Charlie Williams.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 5 string, Charlie Williams, gaining 40 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 5 string, Charlie Williams, who over-turned a 142 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
