Match Report Press Report

Weald II Lost to Crawley Squash Club V in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 5 string should have been the closest, with only 15 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Sarah Naish winning through.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 122 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Tom Marner.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 4 string, Reka Kemecsei, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 4 string, Reka Kemecsei, who over-turned a 480 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
