Match Report Press Report

Midhurst I Lost to The West Worthing Club I.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 6 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with James Johnson winning through.

It was the number 1 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 103 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Graham Manser.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 4 string, Toby Suttle, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 4 string, Toby Suttle, who over-turned a 1202 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
